Grad @ Grad Award Recipients

Congratulations to our First Quarter Grad @ Grad Award recipients!
Arsema Robi, a member of the Class of 2026, exemplifies the characteristic of Committed to Doing Justice every day on our campus. Most recently Arsema established the HackHer’s club this year after she recognized that there were fewer female students in robotics and saw a need to actively invite women into the tech world of coding. Congratulations Arsema!

Calvin Riggio, a member of the Class of 2026, exemplifies the  Grad @ Grad characteristic of
Intellectually Competent. The faculty member who nominated Calvin noted that he is an excellent student with a keen sense of humor, in fact Calvin runs his own parody/satire instagram account with humorous and quippy memes. Congratulations Calvin!

Leoni Pendras, a member of the Class of 2025, exemplifies the Grad @ Grad characteristic of Loving. Leoni is a leader on our campus and the soccer field, where she is as tenacious as any player on the field, never afraid to take on a challenge. Leoni is always attentive to those around her and treats all people - opponent or teammate with love and respect. Congratulations Leoni!

Being Open to Growth requires a moment of testing - facing an obstacle and learning from it. Alyssa Dawkins, a member of the Class of 2025, has more than earned the award for the grad @ grad characteristic of being Open to Growth. After a season ending injury at the end of her sophomore year, Alyssa stayed positive and continued to lead the girls’ basketball team.
Alyssa continues to model what being Open to Growth looks like every day. Congratulations Alyssa!

The employee who nominated the winner of our final Grad @ Grad award - Religious - has this to say about Alice Malebranch, a member of the Class of 2025: “Our world needs young women like Alice to lead us through this challenging world. Alice gives me hope - she is open and vulnerable, while holding onto her faith.”
Congratulations Alice!
