Joe Brady

Joe Brady is the Deputy Director of Regional Parks and Attractions for Metro Parks Tacoma, a municipal corporation and vital community partner that oversees parks and recreation services in the city of Tacoma. Joe previously served as the organization’s Chief Strategy Officer.
 
Prior to joining Metro Parks, Joe worked for the Office of the Commissioner of Public Lands as a senior level policy analyst, with primary duties to ensure that public lands owned by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) were sustainably managed.
 
Joe attended Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, Colorado. He holds his BS degree in Range and Forest Management from Colorado State University. Following graduation, he joined the Peace Corp for three years. Joe is actively involved in the community as a leader, volunteer and coach. He serves on the Board for Downtown on the Go, Tacoma Lawn and Tennis Club, Washington Agriculture and Forestry Leadership Foundation, and was a Senior Fellow for the American Leadership Forum, Tacoma-Pierce County Chapter. 
 
Joe is married to Bellarmine alumna, Byrnn, and is the father of a Bellarmine graduate B'23 and a current Lion, B’25.
