Financial Aid Application Process

Financial Aid Applications for the 2013-2014 School Year are now available.


If you are interested in applying for financial assistance, please follow these steps:

1. Send the completed Student Aid Form plus a check or money order for $25 for the processing fee directly to:

Please note on the application that the filing deadline is December 31, 2012.

2. Required are: Copies of your 2011 Federal Income Tax Return (1040 Form) and copies of all 2011 W2 and/or 1099 forms for individuals listed in Sections A and B of the application. If you have not filed or will not file a tax return, include all appropriate forms per section M of the instructions.

All military applicants will need to provide a copy of their final 2011 Leave and Earnings Statement (LES).

NO APPLICATION WILL BE PROCESSED WITHOUT THE ABOVE INFORMATION.

Private School Aid Service (PSAS) processes all the applications through a computer analysis and makes recommendations to Bellarmine regarding the number of awards to be granted and the number of dollars in each award. Bellarmine's Financial Aid Committee reviews the recommendations and makes the final decisions. Letters regarding your financial aid award will be mailed to you in early March. This response date is given to assist families in making tuition plans for the next school year and in making admission decisions prior to registration.

YOU MAY APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID AFTER THE FILING DEADLINE OF DECEMBER 31, 2012, HOWEVER, THERE IS NO ASSURANCE THAT AID WILL BE AVAILABLE.

Financial aid applications/student aid forms are available in the Student Accounts Office in Orton Hall or you may also download the application above. This is an interactive PDF (portable document format) and may be used in several ways:

Note:  You will need Acrobat Reader 7 or higher for this function.  To download a free copy of the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, click here.

1. You may complete the Student Aid Form PDF directly on your computer screen by clicking on and opening the document. Next, place your cursor at the appropriate field and type in the information.

2. Once completed, you should then save the document to your computer and print a hard copy. This option may be preferred by families who are more technologically savvy and wish to type their information rather than filling in the form by hand.

The second option is to simply open the application form, print it out, complete it by hand.



Printing Instructions

You can select which pages you'd like to print under the "Print Range" section of your print screen. You can also preview every page under the "Preview: Composite" section of your print screen by moving the sliding bar beneath the small image of the form.

Mail Completed Forms Directly to PSAS

With either option, the completed Student Aid Form and required accompanying documents need to be sent directly to PSAS. Do not mail the completed form to Bellarmine. Send directly to:
