Introduction to Bellarmine

Bellarmine is a Catholic high school in the Jesuit tradition. Our current enrollment is approximately 1,000 students. Of those 1,000 students, 70% are Catholic with the remaining 30% made up of other religions. Our minority enrollment is 25% of our total population. Tuition for the 2012-13 school year is $12,833. Almost 36% of our student body receives financial aid and/or scholarships.

Bellarmine Preparatory School has been on the hill in Tacoma since 1928, educating young adults for a lifetime of individual growth and service to the community. We provide a rigorous course of college prep academics on a beautiful 42-acre campus.

Students at Bellarmine have opportunities for academic success, spiritual growth, leadership, participation in 4A sports, community service, music, theater arts, fine arts, student government, intramural sports, clubs and much more.

Getting Started

All grade levels are invited to create an online account. Whether you're planning to apply for next year or are beginning to take a look at high schools, creating an account provides an avenue of communication for families who are exploring Bellarmine.

It's easy to get started. The first step is to set up your online admissions account. You will be able to request information, schedule shadow visits for your student, register for an Open House, sign up for one of the placement exams and submit your application once you have an account.
