All applicants to the ninth grade are required to take the Explore exam which covers English, math, reading and science and to do a timed writing sample. You will need to set up an online account to register for the exam. The exam will be offered at Bellarmine in the Administration Building on:
2012-13 Test Dates
Friday, November 30, 2012 from 3:30 - 6:30 pm
Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 3:30 - 6:30 pm
Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 3:30 - 6:30 pm
Students with documented learning differences may arrange for extended time by providing a copy of the current documentation to Bellarmine (attention Jennifer O'Loughlin) no later than November 23, 2012 3:00 p.m. These students would be expected to begin testing during the Friday test period and return Saturday to complete the program. There will not be a reader provided and students must finish by the end of regular testing on Saturday.
Register for the Explore Exam through your online account. There is a $30.00 test fee that can be paid by credit card. Test takers should arrive 15 minutes early and bring a calculator and a #2 pencil.

Admissions/Financial Aid Parent Meeting: During the first hour of the exam while students test, parents are invited to attend an informational meeting about the admissions process and financial aid.
