Bellarmine Preparatory School

Giving to Bellarmine / Annual Giving - The Bellarmine Fund

The Bellarmine Fund

What is the Bellarmine Fund?

It is Bellarmine's annual giving program that raises unrestricted dollars for the school. The fund makes up approximately 8 percent of the school's budget, the next largest source of income for the school after tuition.

Why Does Bellarmine Depend on The Bellarmine Fund?

Unlike public schools, independent schools operate without financial support from the local tax base or from state or national governments. Therefore, Bellarmine relies on annual contributions, tuition and endowment income to meet its operating costs and to bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a Bellarmine education. Current tuition is $12,311 while the cost to educate each student is nearly $15,600.

Who Gives to The Bellarmine Fund?

Current families, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents, and friends give generously each year to The Bellarmine Fund. Full support to The Bellarmine Fund from these individuals demonstrates solidarity within the Bellarmine community. It validates to foundations, corporations, major donors and friends that we are committed to our school and care about its future.

When Can I Give to The Bellarmine Fund?

Because The Bellarmine Fund is an annual giving program that runs on a fiscal year, mirroring the academic year, you can give anytime between July 1, and June 30 to have your gift count for this year.

Matching Gift Program Can Double or Triple Your Gift
